Lindsey Jones is an associate attorney whose practice is dedicated to serving the elderly and their caretakers, including Medicaid and VA planning, Estate Planning, and Guardianship.
Lindsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance, with a minor in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
In her undergraduate career, Lindsey was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, and a Founder’s Scholar Award Recipient, placing her in the top 1% of her class at the University of Central Florida College of Business.
While in law school, Lindsey served as a certified legal intern for the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients in obtaining injunctions for protection for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, and cyberstalking. She also interned at the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Upon graduation, Lindsey received a Pro Bono Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for her work providing legal services to the under-served in the community.
Lindsey is the co-founder of the Summer Fundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships to local under-privileged children to attend summer camp in order to enrich their summer and expose them to arts and activities that they would likely not otherwise have access to. Lindsey is a fifth generation Sarasota/Bradenton native. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys reading, traveling, having Sunday dinner with her family, and spending time with her dog, Trevor.
